This Remington manufactured receiver - late variation is for the model 512 Sportmaster bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of original blue finish blending with a brown patina and having a few specks of light surface rust.  Late variation recievers have a grooved top for scope mounting options.  This is the only part on the model 512 Sportmaster rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
